WFN-MyTank Wireless Tank Gauging System

Description

WFN-MyTank  is a wireless tank management and inventory gauging system that is suitable for both Underground (UST) and Above ground Storage Tanks (AST).   It is easy to install, cost effective and is designed to operate as a standalone system as part of the Wireless Forecourt Network (WFN) as well an open system that can provide adjacent external systems with the relevant tank information as required.

Whether you need a basic Inventory or Tank management system with the benefits of Continuous Statistical Leak Detection (CSLD), the WFN-MyTank system can meet your needs.

WFN-Wireless Device Server

Description

The WFN-Wireless Device Server (WDS) is a PC board based module that is installed inside the dispensing pump header and is used to enable high speed, wireless Radio Frequency (RF) communications between the fuel dispenser and an external host device. (eg. Point of Sale computer or Handheld Device)

The WFN wireless system is backward compatible to the communications protocols employed in traditional cabled networks and can thus be seamlessly introduced into existing installations with the POS software of choice.

The WFN wireless dispenser network comprises the following components:

• The Wireless Device Server      (Product code: WFN-WDS-100)
  The Pump Interface Module for Prowalco Pumps.   (Product code: WFN-PIM-200) (Interfaces for other pump manufacturers available on request)  
• The Wireless Hub  - PC Interface  (Product code: WFN-HUB-300)
• External RF Antennas as per site specific requirements

The adopted wireless communication protocol conforms to the standards published by the internationally accepted Wi-Fi Alliance and thus facilitating stable, standards based, secure, encrypted RF communications allowing an ease of integration with other Wi-Fi enabled devices such as handheld PDA’s, switches, routers, etc.

WFN-Pump Interface Module
Product Code:  WFN-PIM-200

Description

The WFN-Pump Interface Module (PIM) is a PC board based module that is installed inside the dispensing pump header and is used to interface the pump electronics motherboard to the WFN-Wireless device Server (WFN-WDS-100).

While the WDS-PIM-100 version is specifically designed to communicate to the Prowalco series of electronic pumps.  Specific versions of this PIM for communicating to fuel dispensing pumps that are served from alternative suppliers are also available on request.

The Pump Interface Module is supplied with the Interface ribbon cable that is required to connect to the WFN-Wireless Device Server product.

The module can be ordered as a standard fitting when a new pump is purchased or as a separate product that can be used to upgrade existing pumps in the field.
